MORE INFORMATION:
VISION: Our vision for the Farmer’s Market is a place to gather together, linger and stay a while! Grab dinner from the food trucks, picnic on the lawn, support your local farmers, makers and purveyors, play yard games, listen to music, sit by the fire and BYOB.
OPEN MIC: We are launching an OPEN MIC at the Farmer’s Market! Looking for a volunteer who would like to help us get this thing off the ground - we are the space creators, help us bring these community minded events to life! Email us TheKesterHomestead@gmail.com if you’d like to help.
RAIN OR SHINE: This event is rain or shine, all vendors are hosted in our large Gambrel Barn so plenty of place to relax and hang out in the event of bad weather.
PETS: Friendly, leashed pets are welcome
LOCATION & PARKING: The Kester Homestead is located at 5606 Kester Rd. Memphis NY 13112. The barn is 7 miles from Skaneateles. Kester Road is right off of Rt. 5 as you are heading into Elbridge (from Camillus). About 20 minutes from Syracuse, 20 minutes from Auburn, 10 minutes from Skaneateles area. We have a grass parking field with a sign to help guide you - please NO street parking (our farmer neighbors thank you!)
IT TAKES A VILLAGE: Please come support the new Farmer’s Market and watch us grow and evolve! As more people hear about it, the more it will grow. As the season opens for farmers, more vendors will join. It takes a village to make something like this happen! If you’d like to volunteer to help, please reach out!
VENDORS: This event is a gift to our community, it is free for vendors to participate. As we grow the gathering and if you do well, a $10 donation to the venue to help cover staffing fees is greatly appreciated. If you’d like to be a vendor please email us TheKesterHomestead@gmail.com
