The 1854 House & Fieldstone Barn

The Kester Homestead offers thoughtfully curated spaces to host a memorable celebration with your friends & family - join us for your rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, baby shower, elopement dinner or other private gathering. Choose between The 1854 House or our historic Fieldstone Barn for a more intimate gathering — or opt for our larger Gambrel Barn for a larger soiree.

Option 1: The 1854 House: The 1854 House can seat up to 20 guests amongst two tables in the dining room. For a standing room gathering, the house can comfortably accommodate more guests, however there is only (1) restroom on the main level. For warmer months, guests can spill out amongst the backyard and pool area with 4 additional outdoor tables, bonfire pit and plenty of room to mingle.

Option 2: The Fieldstone Barn: The Fieldstone Barn is our open air historic stone barn adjacent to the main Gambrel Barn. For guests who book weddings with us, we use it as a welcoming area or as an add-on offering for Rehearsal Dinners. Guests often add-on this space as a Welcome Party option when hosting their event on site. The Fieldstone Barn can seat up to 40 guests maximum for a seated gathering. If you anticipate that your group is more than 40 guests, booking the Gambrel Barn would be a better option to ensure you are covered in the event of inclement weather.

Pricing:

  • The 1854 House (Day Use, 4 hours): $2,500 (in season) / $1,850 (off season, late October thru April)

  • Fieldstone Barn (Day Use, 4 hours): $2,500 (available late April-late October)

  • Light prep setup by our team (staging tables to your layout, setting tables and staging props)

Optional Add-Ons

  • Floral Packages starting at $1,250

  • Additional styling or décor setup ($250/hr)

  • Additional hours or extended use ($300/hr)

  • Coordinator on site for set-up or execution of event is dependent upon needs
