We have a few wonderful offerings for full weekend and day use packages all year round.

We understand you’ve likely never done anything like this before and comparing venues can be like comparing apples to oranges! It’s hard to know what you’re getting — and those hidden add-ons from other venues you’ve toured can add up quickly and will blow your budget.

Knowing this, we thoughtfully curated our property and offerings with everything you need to execute your wedding day… leaving your only additional expense considerations to be your unique details (like menu, seating chart, guest book for example), your catering team, band/DJ, photography/videography and florals.

  • Full Weekend Getaway - $22,500 (best value & couples favorite)

    This is our most inclusive & immersive offering where you can stay for a full weekend on property with overnight accommodations at The 1854 House for you and your closest guests!

    Weekend Itinerary:

    FRIDAY

    • Noon: Arrive and unpack then do a quick 30 minute “Hand Off Meeting” with our Event Coordinator

    • Take a sneak peek of the venue coming to life — then go relax while we handle set-up!

    • 1-4pm: Relax by the pool, welcome your bridal party and totally sink in the magic of the day!

    • 4pm: Rehearsal Walk-Thru with our Event Coordinator in the Woodlands Cathedral (30 mins)

    • 5pm - Rehearsal Dinner either on-site or off-site. Choose to host a DIY Welcome Party or Rehearsal on site at the house/backyard included in your booking fee …or head off site and enjoy a rehearsal dinner at a restaurant nearby.

    • We’d love to welcome you into the Fieldstone Barn for an intimate seated meal with tables, chairs, place settings and use of the restrooms and prep kitchen for an additional fee. You can welcome a caterer of your choice and stay on property all weekend long!

    SATURDAY:

    Let the wedding festivities begin!

    Enjoy your Woodlands Cathedral ceremony area, Wild Garden Cocktail Hour, Gambrel Barn Reception… and close the night by the bonfire under the twinkling night sky!

    SUNDAY:

    Checkout around 10am — or extend your stay a night on the front and back end and really relish your time here!

    Included for your booking:

    • The 1854 House - (2) overnight stays inside historic Victorian home with accommodations for 10-14 guests within 7 bedrooms. There is an outdoor pool, pergola with long dining tables, bonfire pit, garden and chickens. You and your closest guests can truly sink into your wedding experience on the property, just steps to the venue. Many guests opt to add on Thursday or Monday to really soak in the magic!

    • Gambrel Barn - dinner and dancing, with 17 farm tables, up to 170 chairs and place settings, 2 lounges, a bar, high tops and bonfire pit

    • Woodlands Cathedral- ceremony location in the forest with church pews and arbor. Rug runners, a podium and many other decor options from our Prop Closet included

    • Fieldstone Barn - welcome area with a bar, table for gifts/cards and seating with bistro tables. Additional rental space for rehearsal dinner or welcome party (or DIY it over at the house!)

    • Wild Garden- cocktail hour location with high tops, outside bar, bonfire pit and charcuterie table

    • Bridal Suite (inside barn), Caterer’s Prep Quarters, as well as 5 restrooms (ADA accessible), field parking for 75 cars, and lush forest with rambling trails for your gathering

    • Prop Closet — (17) farm tables, up to (170) tolix bistro chairs, mis-matched white plates, sterling flatware, brass candlesticks, (2) fixed lounge sets, antique dance floor rugs, (6) outdoor high tops, (3) fixed bars, outdoor yard games and many other vintage offerings allowing you to skip other costly rentals and set-up fees

    • Assistance from our Styling Team the day before and day of your event. The team will provide a clean, stocked space and will set tables/chairs/place settings as well as (1-2) bins of your personal decor (ie. menus, seating chart, programs and family photos). If you are bringing more and require additional set up, simply book us for additional service with an additional fee.

    • DIY Rehearsal Dinner on site at The 1854 House. This is a DIY offering for you to host your guests inside the house or within the ~30ft pool pergola in the event of rain. Additional booking of The Fieldstone Barn is optional for seated offering

    • Treehouse- is available for overnight stays at no additional fee - featuring electricity, overhead lights/fan and a full size mattress with bedding for an amazing glamping experience

    • Access to our Couples Portal to help you plan your timeline, vendors, layout and more

    • Complimentary 1 hour “Engagement Shoot” outside on the grounds on an available weekday leading up to your event (access to The 1854 House is available for a fee)

    * We do ask that you book from our vendor list for all catering/bar needs or discuss other options before booking outside of it.

    ** Our venue is most comfortable hosting ~150 guests or under (especially for rain plan) but we can host a max of 170.

    Catering Requirements:

    We remain flexible with catering partners - but we truly prefer the following for the best possible experience for you and your guests — Root Catering, Scratch Farmhouse Catering, The Sherwood Inn or FLX Feast & Co (please note: we do not accept kick backs for these recommendations. This is our honest opinion based on most professional interactions, highest quality food & sourcing, best behind-the-scenes working relationships and overall service provided)

    Mandatory Add-Ons:

    • The “Right Hand” Package which is our in house Event Coordination so that you are very supported throughout the day of wedding. We include a phone planning meeting, in person planning visit (4-6 weeks before your event), and 30 min “Hand Off Meeting” upon arrival. We have unlimited e-mail communication. This is not a planning service, but a very supportive Day of Coordination add on to ensure a smooth and easy day for all!

    Other Notes:

    • We love pets - there is a $250 pet fee to help keep our property clean for the next guest checking in.

DAY OF WEDDINGS

If you’re looking to celebrate at The Kester Homestead just for the day, we have you covered with everything you need. We’ll welcome your guests into our historic Fieldstone Barn before heading down the path into the forest to our Woodlands Cathedral, after the ceremony you’ll sip cocktails in our Wild Garden then head up to a fanciful dinner in our large, covered Gambrel Barn to dine and dance the night away! If you want to sink into the weekend, book us for a full weekend and stay right on site with an option for a welcome party, rehearsal and farewell brunch. Want to gather, get ready and take photos inside the house - but don’t want to stay the weekend, we’ve got you covered there too!

  • Day Use Wedding Pricing & Inclusions (available May-October):

    • Friday or Saturday Gathering $16,500

    • Sunday Gathering $14,500

    • Monday - Wednesday Gathering $8,500

    This offering is inclusive of a lovely day rental booking with access into the historic farm venue & its offerings.

    Day UseIncludes:

    • Styling Team Decor Set-up Helpers - $1,500+, quoted based on items to be moved and set-up

    • Early drop off/late pick-up of personal decor to ensure a stress-free day.

PETITE WINTER & Early SPRING WEDDINGS

Have you dreamed of a stunning & simple soiree - a handful of your closest few to witness your I dos? Celebrate your wedding this winter at The Kester Homestead’s 1854 House with your ceremony on site in our lightly heated sunroom and dinner & dancing in the dining room. A crackling fire will welcome your guests while we handle the rest. The barn is closed for winter, so snuggle up inside for a stunning, intimate gathering.

  • Petite Winter Weddings

    Come celebrate your small winter wedding with us here at The Kester Homestead from November through March inside the historic estate from $5,850 for the day.

    What’s included

    • Use of The 1854 House for up to 20 guests max

    • Ceremony option in the lightly heated sunroom with chairs and arbor provided

    • Dinner in the dining room with up to two tables (10 guests at each table)

    • Dinner tables set by our styling team with vintage plates, sterling flatware, napkins, goblets, copper water cups and brass candlesticks

    • Floral centerpieces on the dinner tables and a bridal bouquet. Arbor and additional florals are booked for an extra fee.

    • You provide any additional candles, decor, menus and signage

    • You book your own caterer (preferably from one of our recommendations!)

    Overnight Stay:

    We’d love to welcome you to stay overnight. You can add-on overnight stay to your package at a discounted rate $780/night with a two night minimum stay (prices from Nov-March only, then in season rates apply).

    Catering Requirements:

    We remain flexible with catering partners - but we truly prefer the following for the best possible experience for you and your guests — Root Catering, Scratch Farmhouse Catering, The Sherwood Inn or FLX Feast & Co (please note: we do not accept kick backs for these recommendations.     Optional Winter/Spring Add-Ons:

    • The “Right Hand” Package which is our in house Event Coordination so that you are very supported throughout the day of wedding. We include a phone planning meeting, in person planning visit (4-6 weeks before your event), and 30 min “Hand Off Meeting” upon arrival. We have unlimited e-mail communication. This is not a planning service, but a very supportive Day of Coordination add on to ensure a smooth and easy day for all! We require this service for all in-season events.
