    The Kester Homestead’s Signature Weekend Experience is designed for couples who want to gather their closest people for a fully hosted wedding weekend — without managing logistics themselves. This experience offers exclusive access, thoughtful coordination, and on-site leadership so you can fully enjoy every moment.

    Exclusive Weekend Access

    • Private wedding weekend for up to 170 guests

    • Exclusive access to the property Friday through Sunday

    • Two-night overnight stay for up to 15 guests

    • Full private use of the property throughout the weekend

    • Pool, bonfire areas, sleeping treehouse, walking trails, and outdoor gathering spaces available during your stay

    • Our pricing is based on exclusive access to the property rather than guest count. Whether hosting 30 or 170 guests, couples receive the same private, fully supported experience

    Wedding Day Spaces (Fully Prepared)

    • Use of the Woodlands Cathedral, Wild Garden, and Gambrel Barn for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception

    • Bridal suite and catering prep kitchen

    Rehearsal & Weekend Flow

    Vendor Guidelines

    We are flexible with vendor selection and encourage couples to work with professionals from our preferred vendor list — partners we know work seamlessly on our property.

    We do require catering services be provided by Root Catering, Scratch Farmhouse Catering, The Sherwood Inn, or FLX Feast & Co. If you wish to inquire about an alternative caterer, please contact us in advance to ensure compatibility with the property.

    The Intimate Weekend Experience is designed for couples who desire the full magic of a Kester Homestead wedding weekend — thoughtfully scaled for a more personal guest count.

    This offering provides exclusive access to the property, overnight accommodations, full venue styling, and comprehensive event support — all intentionally crafted for gatherings of up to 75 guests.

    A celebration that feels immersive, relaxed, and deeply connected.

    Weekend Access & Accommodations

    • Guest arrival beginning Friday afternoon

    • Two-night stay at The 1854 House for up to 15 overnight guests

    • Exclusive access to the property through Sunday morning

    Our Single-Day Celebration is designed for couples who desire a beautifully prepared, professionally supported wedding day at The Kester Homestead — all within one seamless experience.

    This offering provides exclusive access to our most beloved spaces, full venue styling, and comprehensive event-day coordination in a refined, single-day format.

    Exclusive Day Access

    • Private access to the property from 9:00am–11:00pm

    • Access beginning at 9:00am for unloading and personal décor setup

    • Event conclusion by 11:00pm, with personal décor removed at the end of the evening (unless otherwise arranged)

    • On-site rehearsal the morning of your wedding at 9:00am or 10:00am

    Our Fieldstone Gathering is designed for couples seeking an intimate, thoughtfully prepared farm estate experience. Ideal for a seated dinner, rehearsal, or small celebration, this package allows you to enjoy the charm of The Kester Homestead in a curated, private setting for up to 30 guests.

    Day-of Access & Use

    • Exclusive use of the Fieldstone Barn and surrounding grounds for up to 4 hours

    • Event must conclude at the end of reserved time

    • Access begins at the reserved start time for setup and decor placement

    Spaces & Styling

    • Tables and chairs for up to 30 guests

    • Bar setup for your celebration

    • Access to our catering prep kitchen and on-site restrooms

    • Curated styling of the Fieldstone Barn space by our team

    • Basic setup and breakdown included

  • PETITE WINTER WEDDINGS — Starting at $6,500

    (November-March)

    Have you dreamed of a stunning and simple soiree, with just your closest loved ones to witness your “I dos”? Celebrate your winter wedding at The Kester Homestead’s 1854 House with your ceremony and dinner in one intimate, historic space. The barn is closed for winter, so snuggle up inside while we handle the details, and let the crackling fire set the tone for your special day.

    Day-of Access & Use

    • Exclusive use of The 1854 House for up to 20 guests

    • Ceremony in the lightly heated sunroom (chairs and arbor provided)

    • Dinner in the dining room with seating for up to 20 guests (2 tables)

    • Event hours: up to 4 hours

    • Expect to cozy up around the candlelit meal after a charming ceremony (optional) and enjoy hosting your guests as if this was your home, if only for a while

    Dinner & Styling

    • Tables set by our styling team with vintage plates, sterling flatware, napkins, goblets, copper water cups, and brass candlesticks

    Catering

    • You select your own caterer (preferably from our recommended partners: Root Catering, Scratch Farmhouse Catering, The Sherwood Inn, or FLX Feast & Co.)
