THE RIGHT HAND PACKAGE

We have found the very best events happen when experience can lead the way! That’s why for 2025 bookings and beyond, our Right Hand Package will be mandatory in order to ensure a smooth and easeful day for all. We know you haven’t done this before, and not all outside wedding planners or event coordinators offer the same level of experience or expertise that we expect for you.

With our offering, you will feel supported as we work to take the final execution off of your plate so you can truly enjoy your special day or weekend here at The Kester Homestead.

Our venue will come clean, tables & chairs set to your plan, place settings staged on tables, our in-house props staged (like candle sticks, vintage trays and extra tables) — and at the end of the night those same things will be cleared by our team. We will also style 1-2 bins of your personal decor (think menus, seating charts, guest book) all included in our offering. If you’re bringing in a u-haul, multiple trunk loads of decorations/furnishings, or more adventurous installs like additional string lights, furniture rental moving, etc. we can help for an additional labor fee.

Our Coordinator will schedule you for a complimentary engagement booking if you choose (dates vary depending on availability), two planning meetings and e-mail communication throughout the planning process. Our Coordinator will communicate with your unique vendors 2 weeks prior to wedding to confirm all details, create and share the Run of Show timeline and will lead a rehearsal walk-thru with you and your bridal party. On the day of your event, the Coordinator will be on site for ~10 hours and they will handle all final execution of set-up, will check in vendors, will ensure the event runs on time and all details are executed to the very best of our ability. Most importantly, our Coordinator and team will ensure you are supported throughout your day - making sure anything that should be behind the scenes stays that way, so you can truly stay in the moment.

While this is not a Wedding Planning Service, we do have our online Couples Portal exclusive to our wedding couples so you can easily imagine your day and plan it effortlessly through our vendor lists.

  • Every couple needs a “right hand” person for their wedding day — the one who just gets it and knows exactly how you want things to flow. The Right Hand makes sure everything runs smoothly.

    Our Coordinator will provide the following:

    • Planning Meeting 4-6 weeks prior to wedding date

    • Coordination with vendors 2-4 weeks prior to event to confirm timeline, headcount and arrival times

    • Creation of detailed "Run of Show"

    • Hand-Off Meeting to review final details

    • Run on-site rehearsal

    • Handle rain plan (if needed)

    • Lead team to set and style decor

    • Wedding day: Greet vendors, check-in with the wedding party 1 hr prior to ceremony, cue the on-site ceremony, dinner, dances, speeches and any other agreed upon day of responsibilities

    Please note, this is not a planning service, but your Right Hand Coordinator will make sure everything you planned happens as you planned it to the highest standard and to the best of our ability.
